The world is full of opportunities. It’s all around us everyday and everywhere. Let’s take a look at what the already successful people are doing and which “vehicles” they use to build their wealth. Again, we’re not going to reinvent the wheel of wealth building. We’re going to model it and replicate it.
Opportunities come in many shapes and forms. Basically we can break it down into the following: New -Inventions -Copyrights (music, literature, film) -Business
Existing -Inventions -Business -Talents
Lets look at each very briefly.
New Inventions Look around you and you'll see opportunities everywhere. Usually you'll see opportunities when you are struggling with something, and realize that there must be an easier or better way to do it. Other times you might think of something totally unique. You might discover something that's been there all the time, but never saw its hidden or true value and potential. Just remember that if you are struggling with something, chances are millions of other people are also struggling with the very same thing. The question is who is going to make money from it. Are you going to do something about it, or will someone else be "that lucky guy" again? Are you going to think of as many excuses as you can why you are unable to get "it" going? All you need is one idea, one prototype and a patent attorney. How difficult is that? I'm sure if you want to you can complicate the matter and think of a thousand possible obstacles, because that's what we usually do. The problem is not finding these opportunities, it's whether or not you're going to do something about it. We all have had brilliant ideas and we'd be inspired for a few minutes and then either forget about it, or get pulled back to the reality of the dreaded eight to five. Or maybe you don't have the money to go through with your idea.
