Step 3 - Discover Your Passion
reading this guide.  This is where so many people get stuck.  So let’s ask it
in a different way.  “What are the
rich and successful doing right that I’m
I’m asking what we’re not doing.  The difference lies in the doing part or
action.  Let's take golf as an example.  Some people might find it
interesting, so they’ll watch golf on television.  Other people are more
interested in it, so they’ll try to squeeze in a round once a week or month,
depending on their family life, work life, etc.  Then there are a committed
few, who really put in the hours to better themselves.  People who’ll spend
hours on the range and on the course, whenever they can.  They take
lessons, read books and magazines about golf, watch instructional videos,
etc.  Now from the three scenarios I sketched, who’s going to be a more
successful golfer?  Obviously the one who spends time on his craft.

Herein lies what differentiates the successful, prosperous people from the
masses.  It’s about action.  But more than that, it’s about taking the right
kind of action.
If you think hard about this, you’ll realize that successful people are
successful because they know what they’re doing, (taking the right kind of
actions) and are therefore then able to create opportunities.
